遠藤 歩 and Expecto Patronum
Perhaps, maybe, eventually, they'll have a house-warming party on Saturday. It depends on whether or not Marcus's friend Joakim from Lysvik(?) is coming.
If you're wondering about the title of this blog I can inform you that it's my real Japanese name according to a generator.
Endoh = distant wisteria (Diana)
歩 Ayumi = walk your own way (Wall)
Yeah, I know... silly, but I was bored and had finished all my school work for today. ;-) Want to know my patronus? (from Harry Potter...)
"Expecto Patronum" My Patronus is a Persian Cat!
God, how pathetic... have to seek help... haha...

Saint Patrick Was a Gentleman...
http://www.filelodge.com/files/room40/1129867/02%20St%20Patrick%20was%20a%20gentleman.mp3
Saint Patrick was a gentleman,
He came from decent people
He built a church in Dublin town,
And on it put a steeple.
His father was a Gallagher,
His mother was a Brady,
His aunt was an O'Shaughnessy,
His uncle was a Grady.
The Wicklow hills are very high,
And so's the hill of Howth, Sir,
But there's a hill much higher still,
Much higher than them both, sir,
On the top of this high hill
Saint Patrick preached his sermon,
Which drove the frogs into the bogs
And banished all the vermin.
There's not a mile of Erin's isle
Where dirty vermin musters,
But there he put his dear fore-foot
And murdered them in clusters.
The frogs went hop
And the toads went pop
Slapdash into the water,
And the snakes committed suicide
To save themselves from slaughter.
Nine hundred thousand reptiles blue
He charmed with sweet discourses,
And dined on them in Killaloe
On soups and second courses.
Where blind worms crawling in the grass
disgusted all the nation,
Right down to hell with the holy spell
He changed their situation.
No wonder that them Irish lads
Should be so gay and frisky,
Sure Saint Pat he taught them that
As well as making whiskey.
No wonder that the saint himself
Should understand distilling,
For his mother kept a shebeen shop
In the town of Enniskillen.
Was I but so fortunate
As to be back in Munster,
I'd be bound that from that ground
I never more would once stir.
There Saint Patrick planted turf
Cabbages and praties,
Pigs galore, mo grá, mo stór,
Altar boys and ladies.
Seasidefestivalen i Kålgården 2006

publiken under kvällen.
Ett av de första banden vi såg hette "Follow him to the end of the desert".
Systrarna Wall Vi kollade även på Jeppe the King & The Memphis Blue Band, ett rockabillyband från Hedemora. Också mycket bra, men vi saknade ståbasen... :(
I väntan på Bag in Box Band...
Bag in Box Band. Fr. v. Jonas Blomström, Peter Westlund,Stefan Westlund och Stina Thörnqvist
Stina på tinwhistle
Peter och Stefan på mandolin(?) och banjo
Memo till mig själv:
- Köpa Invasions CD
- Köpa Bag in Box Bands CD
- Köpa Jeppe the King & Memphis Blue Bands CD

"Miss?! It's a bit cold!"
On Wednesday we brought our students to Hagbacksplan to play some games and give them co-operation tasks in order to get them more aquainted with each other. It was pissing down during the whole day, and do you know how teenagers dress when we tell them to dress after the weather condition? Well, they sure don't put on Wellingtons or a rain cap. They wear tight jeans, t-shirt and... hmm...practically nothing else. But they didn't complain that much... There was just this boy who, in a quiet voice, said "Miss!? It's a bit cold!".
We also took a photo for the school calendar yesterday and I must say, I have a a fantastic class - 8A. I'm their home-room teacher and they've welcomed me with open arms. One tiny little boy, looking like "Emil i Lönneberga" (Emil of the Maple Hills) offered himself to drive me home... on his bike, so I wouldn't need to go by bus. On one condition I said, if it takes no more than 25 minutes (like the bus does). No problem! He responded. Haha... I'd have liked to see him in the uphill slopes... He wouldn't be so cocky then I think.

Hm... this is a photo of the little boy who played the role of Emil i Lönneberga... seeing this I must admit that he looks a bit like my older brother Joakim when he was a boy. See for yourself.
My brother who turned 40
two weeks ago.
Tomorrow my little sister and her boyfriend move to Falun... in the evening we will probably walk over to Anna-Karin's for some wine and nice food... I'll bring the wine... lots of it! ;-)

One of my most shameful moments...
Rosie: [---]...and we drank all day. Unfortunately it was ruined by the fact that I fell and hit my head, had to be raced to the hospital in an ambulance where I received seven stitches [---]. The parents were none to pleased.
Ruby: I bet they weren't. How did you fall? Were you doing your funky moves on the dance floor again?
Rosie: Actually, no. I was only sitting on my stool.
Ruby: Ha ha. Only you could fall on the floor while you were sitting down.
Well... Rosie isn't the only one...
Trust me on that...
I have a scar to prove it...
My Da - The Europan Champion
At the moment he's in Germany on the European Championship Shooting Contest (or whatever it's called) and my mother phoned me today, telling me that he became the European Champion of his class. Well, there you see... my father can do anything. He knows everything and he can fix anything. He's the best father to have... He's superman!
All for now!
A Proud Daughter
"They can't block out the light in here"
Gerry: Was I always bad, was I?
Giuseppe: Not always.
Gerry: I don't deserve to spend the rest of my life in here do I?
Giuseppe: All they done was block out the light.
Gerry: They can't block out the light in here.

Inside I'm dancing
This will be a mellow weekend... I'm just going to plan for the up-coming weeks at school. Anna-Karin and I will take a badly needed walk tomorrow. We haven't been out walking for quite a while... haha... so lazy right now. However, next Friday I'll buy a monthly ticket to Friskis & Svettis. Time to shape up and remind myself what aching muscles feel like. ;-D
Good news is that my little sister is moving to Falun, probably next weekend. It'll be fun having her around. Have to persuade her to have a house-warming party. Hehe... I rememer when we were kids... We didn't get along that well... I thought she was always destroying my Barbies and my other toys and I told her in an angry voice that I'd certainly tell her when she got older how impossible she was and that she ruined my precious Barbie dolls. Ha...

I was only six when she was born, and when we visited my mother and Marica at the maternity hospital they put Marica in my arms... I was... terrified!! Didn't know what to do but to sit there, stiff and uncomfortable. Luckily... as the years passed, we got along much better and now we can talk to each other about just about anything.
BTW, got my eagerly awaited present from Anthony the other day and it was the film In the Name of the Father, which he and I had been talking about. I haven't seen it, but heard so much about it. Everyone says it's a fantastic film! I'm planning on seeing it tomorrow. ;-)
Well, it's soon one o'clock in the morning and I should go to bed... an empty, cold bed... pity me! ;-p

To conclude my day...
- Lots of papers (in fact tons of papers)
- Lots of information (my mind wandered away)
- Lots of names (forgotten most of them already)
- Lots of faces (new and familiar ones)
- Lots of confusion (what's new? I'm often confused... Ha...)
Shall I go on?

How’m I ridin’? I’m ridin’ high...
Besides, I don't have to worry about meeting my new students quite yet. They don't start school until Monday the 21st. I've been looking through the school calendar today, studying their faces and trying to learn some names. I know they appreciate a teacher who makes an effort to learn the names as soon as possible. I know some teachers which after three years with the same students still haven't learned all the names. I think that's kind of disrespectful.
This has been a weekend of solitude (or loneliness, whatever you prefer). But it was for the best, because that gave me time to tidy my apartment and do the washing. Anna-Karin stopped by for a short while today though to borrow my hiking boots, because her daughter is going on a hike with her school next week. She'd better stock up with a lot plasters, that's what I'm saying. I ought to be an expert... could get blisters just by looking at my poor feet...
Speaking of nothing at all... do kisses cure every ailment and injury you might get or suffer from? I'd like to think so. Better do some research on that. ;-)
That's all for now...
Diana alias Jana alias Lopploella alias Fiaskrutt alias... well don't have any more nick-names... I think...
My Secret Life as a Reluctant Maid
Ever since I got back to Falun I've been trying to mobilize all my strength and power for cleaning up my apartment. I'm done with my closet, and have about six or seven bags of clothes that I might as well throw away, because I'll never use them again. Yesterday, I had a fight with the balcony which was covered in yellow pollen. It was everywhere, absolutely everywhere I'm telling you. I got rid of it as well as some spiders and earwigs which occupied my flowerpots.
So... my closet and balcony, places guests seldom take a closer look at, are sparkling. However the rest of the place certainly needs a good dusting and vacuuming, or else the dust angels might attack the next visitor (the Swedish word for dust angel is much more funnier and suitable I think - Dammråtta - one could translate it to Dust Rat).
"Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Dust Rats will attack you if you don't arm yourself with a vacuum cleaner. Beware, beware of the Dust Rats! Save yourselves! Vacuum for your lives!!"
Oh, all right... I know I'm being silly, but I had fun writing it though! ;-)
If there's one thing I absolutely loathe, it's vacuuming... the vacuum cleaner and I are not very good friends. In fact, we despise each other. Nevertheless, we both keep a stiff upper lip and do the job together, thoroughly but quickly, in the war against the Dust Rats (angels)!
Wish me luck... I'm joining the battle against the Dust. I might not come back alive, so... dear friends and family, just rummage through my apartment for things you want if the worst should ever happen...
Best Wishes,
The Reluctant Maid

Against Boredom the Gods Themselves Fight in Vain...
I thought I would have an evening devoted to relaxation and recreation. Well, I’ve taken a bubble bath and I’m already fed up with relaxation and recreation… What to do? If only the scientists had invented a machine which could take you to another place in just an instant, I would use it and go to Dublin and see Anthony. That would've been great. However, there are probably more important things for the scientists to invent… so here I am… having a really boring night. My money is all gone and I won’t get my pay check until the 25th this month.
It’s only a quarter past nine and I have to come up with something to do. I’m too restless to read, too restive to watch TV, too impatient to prepare for the approaching school start. That settles it then… I’m going for a walk…

Storms make trees take deeper roots...
Welcome to the Wall clan Marcus, and thanks for watching out for my sister in Stockholm...

Jack Sparrow and Kick Stand Thieves
Talking of bicycles... I made a discovery when I came back home to Falun last week... someone, a very weird someone, had stolen my kick stand... can you believe it? The kick stand was gone but my bike was left. Hmm... what on earth does anyone need a single kick stand for? To beat up your annoying neighbour with? Use as a drink stick? or perhaps a drill girl needed a new drill rod/stick/staff (or whatever it's called) ?
Waiting unpatiently now for the postman to bring me something special... today, my letterbox was totally empty, not even a single flyer... but tomorrow might bring me a surprise. Ha... I'm pathetic... waiting for the postman like a little girl... hehe...
Fit as a fiddle...
I was just so tired earlier today, I felt like I would fall asleep right at Anna-Karin's kitchen table. So I went home, wrote an e-mail to Anthony and then I jumped into bed, pulled the cover over my head and in a few minutes I was fast asleep. Woke up three hours later feeling like a new person. However... now, at 1.50 in the night/morning I don't feel the urge to sleep at all... which makes this night quite a bore... what's there to do? I watched an Irish comedy earlier "The Most Fertile Man in Ireland". It wasn't that funny though, quite sad actually, if I'm to say.
Anyhoooo... I'm going to Ireland again... ;-) don't know exactly when, but soon... I hope...

On my last day in Dublin I saw this amazing rainbow
going right down into the clocktower(?).
You know what they say... at the end of the rainbow you'll find a treasure. I'll have to find out then if that saying proves to be right... ;-)

The Thirtieth Birthday Party in Insjön
Anna-Karin and I drinking wine... one of our favouritethings to do when we get together. ;-)
Anna-Karin gazes out over Dalälven
Nice view from the jetty.
It was about 20 degrees in Dalälven that day.
This is the birthday boy himself, Anders.
He is striking a pose by the piano at his parents' house.
Anna-Karin and Anders are preparing
for the up-coming birthday party.
Anna-Karin's preparing another grill because
we were so many fighting for the space on the first one.
Meanwhile Dan, Anders and Magnus are
watching her doings with concerned faces.
Time for Anders to take off into the air...
Near death experience?
Anders playing the guitar for his guests.
Therese, Anna-Karin and I were dancing around
with the children before it was time for them to go to bed.
My left arm hurt for several days after that.
Anna-Karin's explaining to us how the Swedish chef
in the Muppets sounds like... yep... Gibberish!
Another glass of wine and we feel just fine...
More photos will be added as soon as blogger.com works properly...
Blir fan TOKIG på det krånglandet...

Fortune Favours Me..

Happy, happy, happy...

Young and carefree then...
and once again...
Pretty much sums up my thoughts right now...

Wanted! A Summer Holiday that Lasts Longer!

Marica and her boyfriend Marcus,
and our nieces again.

Marcus's pushing Marica around
in my old pedal car. She seems to enjoy
herself I think... ;-)

Saying hello to the newly shaved sheep at Bada Mansion.
Poor thing... he really did look ugly.

My older sister Jessica and her husband Håkan.
They have three children, Jesper, Moa and Felix.
NOTICE! Ok... blogger.com doesn't always work as it should... so if it's possible I'll add some more photos later...
It's burning through to my soul...
Help me, I'm flaming
I must be a hundred and nine
Burning, burning, burning
And nothing can cool me
I just might turn into smoke
But I feel fine
(E. Presley - Burning Love)
We will meet again but how soon?
all my flowers burst into bloom.
We will meet again but how soon?
I need someone who's good,
someone who's true.
Someone who's nice,
I need someone like you.

Watching out for me from heaven…

Tommy
Whatever destiny has in store for me I’m sure it will all be for the best…
On Friday I got some news that I’ve thought would upset me when I eventually would get it, but surprisingly all it really did to me was making me feel free and relieved. And I’ve been in such a good mood all weekend after realizing what positive effect it had on me. I’m free to do whatever I want… to go wherever I want…. whenever I want to…
Living the life of Riley… ;-)
